Features 12 ground crew and paratrooper figures, full cockpit, complete navigators and engineer's station, full cargo/passenger compartment with bulkheads and seats with seatbelts, restroom with sink and toilet, optional position passenger and cargo doors, rotating wheels and propellers, detailed gear and wells and more. Includes decals for two aircraft.

Ideal Aeroplane & Supply US Sub Chaser (Subchaser / Submarine Chaser) 1916 WWI - 20 Inch Wooden Ship Model

1930s issue kit from the famous Ideal Aeroplane & Supply Company which was founded in 1911. Nicely done kit features a fully precarved solid balsawood hull, three sheets of nicely done printwood, numerous wood stock and metal stock as needed, full color flag sheet, sealed bag of metal fittings, sandpaper and very well drawn full size plans that include numerous detail and section views. The kit has not been started. Inside it is exactly as it left the factory down to the packing paper. Includes an excellent magazine article on these interesting ships. The US Navy WWI Submarine chaser was a 110 foot wooden vessel. The ships carried a crew of 25 and were armed with a 3 lb deck gun and a "Y" gun for discharging depth charges. The ships proved valuable in combating the German U-boats in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Some were updated and saw service in WWII.

Features Chevy V-8 with stock carbs or dual Carter 4 bbl carburetors and headers, custom or stock valve covers and choice of two air cleaners, choice of three tire sets stock, custom and slicks, complete stock interior or custom bucket seat interior with Hurst shifter and tachometer, optional camper bed topper, detailed engine compartment with opening hood, stock or custom bumpers and grills and more. Molded in gray, chrome, clear, red tint clear and black rubber. The kit has not been started. NOTE: missing two of the custom Crager 5-spoke wheels. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts, decals and instructions.

This excellent kit has 143 parts. This kit is highly detailed and features metal body, chassis, hood, engine and other detail parts with injection molded details, clear parts, and a large tree of chrome plated parts. Builds to a very realistic model since the largest parts that were metal on the car are also so on the model. Builds a full rolling chassis just like the real car. Very good suspension, steering and exhaust detail. Engine is highly detailed and the hood is removable. Includes flexible radiator hoses, rubber tires and chrome spoke wheels. Working worm-gear steering. Full interior detail with very clear thin windshield and special interior side panels. Never started. The inside of the kit is just like it left the factory. All the parts that were in factory sealed bags are still sealed. The few parts that were not have been inventoried complete. Includes all decals, file and full instructions. In the 1930s Packard was the style leader in America and a beautiful, fast status symbol. Packards were not the most expensive, but were the most desired cars. The 1930s Packards are seen as the high point of the brand.

From ex-Frog molds. Well done model of the high speed British research aircraft. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo.

Rare 1966 hardbox kit. Very large 1/87 scale (2 feet long) and detailed kit of a classic commercial whaler. This model was one of a small series of large scale sailing ships made by Aurora to appeal to the serious ship modeler. Molded in correct dark wood, black, tan, ivory and white. Features billowing sails, metal anchor chains, running and standing rigging, molded ratlines and display stand. The box is poor but inside the kit is like new. It has not been started and all parts are still sealed in the original factory bags. Complete with instructions and decals.

Very unusual decals for Cuba and Iraqi Air Forces as well as Czech. This kit is part of an early effort by AMT to market quality Hasegawa kits in the USA. Hasegawa made the kits and decals in Japan and shipped them to AMT, who supplied the boxes and marketing. Never started. Very rare 'plastic and precarved wood" kit. Before there were injection molded plastic kits, model builders worked in wood or metal. Advanced companies, like Monogram, saw the advantage of plastic and began marketing kits with plastic details and fully-carved fuselage, wings, etc. This beautiful kit is one the highest quality composite static kits from the early to mid 1950s. From about 1966. In addition to cars, ships, planes and figures, Pyro added an excellent line of well-known and not-so-well-known life-sized (1/1) scale pistol and rifle models to their line. In each case Pyro gained access to the actual weapon during the kit design, insuring a very accurate model. This is a full size model is based on the copy in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The kit has never been started. This kit has never been started. NOTE: missing decals. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.

This kit is from Airfix molds and is one of the MPC '3 Big Bonus' features series. Dates from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The model features customizing parts (such as chrome plated bombs, missiles, prop, exhaust, air scoops, antenna and guns) and the clear modular display stand. Note that this issue still has 'Craft Master' under the MPC logo. Before this, MPC was marketing Airfix kits under the Craftmaster name in the USA. This continued for several issues and was finally discontinued although MPC continued to distribute Airfix and their own models. This kit has never been started. NOTE: missing decals. Inventoried with all other aircraft parts, modular stand, custom chrome parts and instructions.
