Still factory sealed. This is the large and well detailed ex-ITC kit. When ITC discontinued plastic kit production, 'Ringo' was the name give to the 'clearing house' company that cleaned out the ITC warehouse of left over stock. Ringo kits normally did not come with decals or flag sheets. The US Navy WWI Submarine chaser was a 110 foot wooden vessel. The ships carried a crew of 25 and were armed with a 3 lb deck gun and a "Y" gun for discharging depth charges. The ships proved valuable in combating the German U-boats in the Atlantic and Mediterranean. Some were updated and saw service in WWII.

As with most Comet kits, this one is very nicely molded with all recessed panel detail and no unsightly rivets. Features retractable sonar dome and MAD boom, extensive clear windows, wing search light with clear cover, rocket under-wing load out, rotating props and display stand. Dated 1958. Classic cold war kit with great box art and very good detail. The model includes the entire Hawk Battery - 6 Hawk Missiles, Loader Vehicle, Launcher, Tracker and five man crew. Loader has movable wheels and tracks, and missiles elevate. Launcher has movable wheels and missiles swivel and elevate. Tracker has moving wheels and radar screen. The kit has never been started. The missiles, axles and tracks are still in the factory sealed bags. The olive drab parts, which were never factory bagged, have been inventoried 100% complete with decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. This is one of a wonderful and extensive line of 1/48 car kits from Renwal. Dates from the 1960s. Ideal for use in 1/48 dioramas with aircraft or armor or for use in O Scale train layouts. Renwal did an excellent job on engineering and detail with this series. Features all parts molded in the proper colors, full interiors, chrome plated parts, rubber tires and a base with a clear display cover. Please note that although this kit is sealed, there is a hole in the bottom of the box roughly 3/8 by 5/8 inches.

Classic 1950s boxart at it's finest. Large 24 inch long kit with clear right half that is hinged to open. The Jefferson is the only Renwal submarine that has the clear hull half - all others have a gray hinged half. Heavily detailed interior and actual 'launching' Polaris missile from a spring loaded tube. The kit has never been started. The small parts that were factory internal bag sealed are still sealed, and the parts that Renwal never sealed have been inventoried 100% complete. Includes instructions and decals both in excellent condition and the Renwal parts sheet as well.

Well detailed kit contains Regulus II Cruise Missile with launcher - nuclear reactor assembly- Helicopter - Terrier and Talos missiles and launchers, decals and flagsheet. CGN-9 U.S.S. LONG BEACH was the world’s first nuclear-powered warship. She was launched in July of 1959 as the lead ship of the first new cruiser class since WWII. Originally designed as an all-missile cruiser, she was later fitted with two 5”/36 caliber guns amidships. After serving more than 33 years, she was decommissioned on 1 May 1995.

1967 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of it's kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box - in this case the exact car was on display at the Auto Aviation Museum under the directorship of Mrs. Philip L. Sommerlad of the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland, OH. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated parts, dark blue injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet'. NOTE: the engine block halves have been very neatly assembled. Quality of assembly is excellent with no gaps and no visible glue. There is no other assembly. The kit has been inventoried and is complete with all parts and instructions.

The first trainer standardized for the Air Force and Navy. Rubber-powered wooden scale flying model kit. Before there were plastic models, there were wooden aircraft kits. These usually came in two types - solid and stick and tissue. The solid models were static and usually contained a few blocks of balsa and sometimes a detail part or two. These "Make Wood Look Like Plane" models required a very high level of skill in carving and finishing. The stick and tissue variety were slightly easier to build and provided the ultimate thrill - they could fly when complete with rubber power (and later with free-flight gas and eventually RC). They still required a great deal of skill, so manufacturers sought ways to make model building more accessible to everyone. One idea was pre-carving and/or prefabrication. This raised prices, naturally. Many manufacturers launched lines of 'easy' to build flying models but only Monogram succeeded in making an entire line at an affordable price that would actual fly. The original "Speedee-Bilt" kits were in one-piece two-color boxes. In the early 1950s, shortly before plastic kits were available, Monogram changed to the 'hardbox' with a lithographic slick glued to the top as this kit. Speedee-Bilt kits contained die cut and pre painted wooden parts, completely formed airfoil wings, carved wheels and numerous plastic details like cowlings, pilot, missiles, prop and more. Assembly was by detailed full size plans. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.

1973 White Box release of the 1950s Four Star kit. Ideal builder. Kit features rotating wheels and propellers, side gun packs and cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, underwing rockets and boarding ladder. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: there is small amount of glue on the mounting tabs of the two small side windows. The visible parts of the windows are clear and have no glue. The windows were never installed as the fuselage has no glue on it.

Very early LS kit. Even at this early date, you can see why LS became legendary for it's quality. Features well molded parts with all fine recessed panel lines, retracting landing gear, opening bomb bay and dropping bomb and crew of two. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. LS was one of the earliest Japanese manufacturers to produce very high quality kits. Some of the LS molds are still used today by Hasegawa, testifying to their detail and accuracy.
