Features detailed full hull, preformed ratlines, chain and cord for running and standing rigging, 20 crew members, detailed armament, operating propeller hoist and detailed deck fittings. The kit is molded in dark wood, ivory and wood tan. Also includes complete step by step assembly instructions and full rigging instructions/diagrams. The model has never been started. Features highly detailed engine compartment with dual inboard big-block V-8 engines with separately molded fan belts/pulleys and exhaust, removable engine hatch, full dash board with instruments, keyboard and drink holder, chairs, full deck fittings, detailed drive units and K-flaps, display stand and full pin stripe decals. Molded in white, chrome and a realistic tinted clear. Model is 13 3/8 inches long when assembled.

Rare first issue hardbox dated 1957. This first issue is P20 and the second is PA20; the 'P' designation lasted less than a year. Molded in the correct, early high gloss silver plastic. Features retracting landing gear, rotating wheels/props, three man crew, optional position door and two survivors in a life raft. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, decals and instructions present. Instructions and decals are 'excellent'. NOTE: box is intact but has insect litho damage as shown and on the side panels. The Albatross was the primary sea rescue aircraft of the Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Service, a branch of MAC - Military Airlift Command. Operational service began in 1947 and Hu-16s saw wartime action in Vietnam.

1970s Hi-Vis issue. Nicely detailed. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing the two small, flat clear side cockpit window. Easily made from stock materials or white glue. Otherwise inventoried complete with all other pars, decals and instructions. Over 1000 Trackers were completed for the Navy as carrier-based submarine hunters. Grumman was awarded the contract in 1950, and in 1952 the first XS2F-1 flew. The large belly radome contained the PAS-38 search radar and the ASQ-10 MAD detector was in the tail. ALD-3 ECM performed DF (direction finding) duties, and the 70 million candle power spotlight lit up targets at night. Sonobuoys were held in both engine nacelles and offensive weapons included acoustic torpedoes, depth charges, rockets and conventional bombs. Trackers saw service in several other Navies including Canada.

Rare 1956 "S" Kit based on the early television show. Contains all three kits - World's Fastest Ocean Liner SS United States, American Airlines Douglas DC-7 and 1956 Cadillac El Dorado Convertible. All three kits have never been built and are 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the SS United States does not have assembly but has some painting. The hull, funnels and life boats have been painted. This can be removed by soaking them in DOT 3 brake fluid and scrubbing them with an old toothbrush.
