Original Renwal issue from the late 1950s; not a common modern reissue. The hardbox has fantastic artwork of Hawk in action shooting down a four engine bomber, which is probably a B-17 drone (like the Nike Ajax boxart). This was an excellent kit for that time featuring three removable missiles, a detailed launch trailer that elevates and rotates the missiles, complete radar trailer with rotating and tilting radar housings. There is a crew of four and full decals. Molded in white and olive drab plastic. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box has typical age spotting as shown.

This board game is in brand new, unpunched condition. The contents are complete and never used. Carrier War was first issued in 1987 and is a complete simulation of military operations in the Pacific Theater from December 7, 1941 to April 1944. Players have supreme command of the land, air and naval forces of either Japan or the Allies. The scale of the game is strategic with operational overtones. This game has three levels of play so you can select the degree of complexity. Land, naval and air operations are simulated in an easy-to-learn and playable manner and the game is rated in the center of the 'Complexity Grade' for wargames. The game is designed for two players but can be played in teams or even solitaire.
