The Fw-189 made it's first flight in the late 1930s and was ordered into production soon afterwards. It was built until 1944 and served well on the Eastern Front, where it was known for it's performance, maneuverability, ability to absorb damage and adaptability to many rolls. This is one of a wonderful and extensive line of 1/48 car kits from Renwal. Dates from the 1960s. Idea for use in 1/48 dioramas with aircraft, armor or for use in O Scale train layouts. Renwal did an excellent job on engineering and detail for these kits. Features a one piece main upper body, one piece lower body with fenders, complete interior, plated bumpers, grill and many other plated parts as required, separately molded front axle/suspension and rear axle/drive shaft, clear windows, separately molded headlights with clear lenses and rubber tires.
