For the advanced collector and investor. Very rare and in exceptional, all original condition. This is a Adams-factory built display built for hobby shop promotional use. The intention was simple- if hobby shops would purchase and display these dioramas, potential buyers would see the model build and immediately purchase the kit. This probably worked well; but the hitch was that these displays were expensive, so few hobby shops could afford them back in the 1950s. And of the ones made, there was heavy attrition. Parts easily broke, and when the new kits came out next year, they were thrown away to make room for more. Which makes condition of this one even more exceptional. The actual model is very neatly built and painted and has no breaks and no repairs. It is complete other than the front brace and side rear view mirror. These could be easily replaced from a parts kit. The paint and decals are in 'excellent' to 'very good' condition with the ones on the missile displaying the typical yellowing. The 3-D cardboard display has like-new color and gloss. There are no rips, tears, missing material, repair or even tape. The only damage is crease up near the words ' real war games at the upper left and a slight crease near the kneeling men. The missile is removable and will be shipped out of the launcher. NOTE: this kit must be shipped insured. NOTE: It will be packed as well as possible in a double box, but be aware that some small parts or men may come loose during shipping and may have to repaired on your end.

Very limited run kit. Features injection molded main airframe parts and some details, two frets of photoetched brass details including perforated machine gun shrouds and MG sights, lozenge decals, paint guide and illustrated instructions with aircraft history. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The D-1 was one of the more obscure aircraft of WWI, but it was likely the most structurally sophisticated. The wings pioneered the torsion box constructions methods, which later became standard. The D-1 also featured a jettisonable fuel tank, the first of that type. Two of these aircraft made it the USA: D1753/18 to the US Navy as A6058 and D1754/18 to the US Army as 68546.

Rare kit of one of the nine evaluation aircraft ordered as an improved version of the P.1127 (Harrier) prototypes. This variant has the fully swept leading and trailing edges of the wings and larger tail. The main airframe parts are cast in resin, all the details are cast metal and there is a clear vac canopy (in excellent condition and not yellow) as well as the unique tri-service decals and fin flash. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed (white metal details) are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed (airframe and decals) have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. NOTE: six of these 9 aircraft were transferred to the USA for evaluation and called XV-6As. You will need to provide your own decals if you wish to model the USA aircraft.
