Huma Model Henschel Hs-132 Jet Fighter - Bagged, 1/72

Still factory bag sealed. Well molded with recessed panel lines. Includes injection molded canopy and decals. Work began on the HS-132 as a jet powered replacement for all the current dive and ground attack bombers which could not function without complete air superiority. Using the experience from the HS123 and 129, Henschel created a simple design where the pilot lay prone to combat "G" forces. The prototype was almost complete when the Russians captured it in 1945.

Dated 1962 with beautiful john Steel hardbox artwork. Very rare in this condition with the box in investment-grade 'Near Mint+' condition. Color and gloss are like new, all corners are solid, no repairs, no tape or tape marks (other than the marks from the original narrow factory packing tape, no stains, fading, tears or rips and no creases. There is the original K-Mark price tag for 41 cents on the left short side and very, very light general wear as shown. Molded in a beautiful gloss dark blue and clear plastic. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions (both in 'excellent' condition).

1960 issue hardbox in the Famous Aircraft Series. The wonderful artwork by Bart Doe is borrowed from the "Famous Artist" series. This is the third issue of this kit; the first issue was the 'S' kit and the second was the "Famous Artists". Includes working wing flaps, centerline drop tank, 2 Bullpup missiles, two Bullpup wheeled trailers and a ground crew of three. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the decals are 100% intact and flat but have numerous age foxing stains on the backing sheet. The box top is graded 'good-' because it has significant, even wear and a light stain at the lower left corner.

First issue from 1956 with the one-year-only Northern Lights rectangular logo. The box gloss and color and factory new and very light wear is the only flaw. It showcases the famous artwork by Jim Cox; this original art lasted longer than any other at Aurora, only being replaced in the early 1970s when the molds were revised. Molded in the correct high-gloss dark green and black plastic. Decals are in rare 'excellent' condition and the instructions are 'near mint++.' Never started and inventoried 100% complete with all parts decals and instructions present.

Still factory sealed. 1999 reissue of the 1958 'Four Star' kit. Possibly the best kit ever injection molded of the first aircraft to sustain powered, controlled flight. Excellent detail and includes rigging instructions. Kit also features figures of Orville and Wilbur Wright, monorail launching track and carrier dolly and historical accessories-"C" clamp, bench, can, spade and starting battery that were all present at the first flight.

This kit features rotating wheels and propellers, side gun packs and cannon/machine gun nose, crew members, underwing rockets and boarding ladder. Never started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing (1) propeller shaft. Easily made because it does not show when the kit is assembled. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions, both in 'excellent+' condition.

Still factory sealed. Dated 1984 and an excellent kit for that time. Features parts and markings to build either the 'A' (without upper turret) or 'B' (with upper turret) versions. The 'B' variant decals are for 'Lady in the Dark', a Pacific P-61 that flew an Oscar into the water for the final air-to-air victory of WWII. Kit features some interior detail, crew of three, rotating turret and elevating guns, independently molded elevator and wing flaps and a wide variety of underwing stores with four bombs and four drop tanks.

Early 1960s release with classic box art by Bill Campbell. If you look closely, Bill painted one of Hawk's founders, Richard (Dick) Mates in the cockpit of the nearest fighter. This is a very nicely molded model with excellent fit and all recessed panel lines. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Thanks to Jean-Claude who told me that the boxart shows a standard F-84F but in reality the model inside is of prototype YF-96A, (aka YF-84F), s/n 49-2430. this aircraft was later modified to become the YRF-84F parasite fighter in combination with GRB-36F.It is on display at the USAF Museum, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Very highly detailed model that features moving launch arms, opening doors, sliding ladders, rotating wheels, rubber tires, moving fins and a launch crew of three. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags; the few parts (white plastic) that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.
