Vacuform Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed

Still sealed. The historic Panther was one of the first British aircraft to be designed to operate from aircraft carrier. Designed to Admiralty specification A.1/N.2A, the Panther was originally known as N.2A and first flew in April of 1918. Panthers were unique with the high cockpit (for good visibility in landing on the carrier) and the folding back fuselage half for improved storage. A contract for 312 aircraft was cut to 150 when WWI ended. A dispute arose between Parnall and the Air Ministry and the later contract was cancelled; but the aircraft went into production with The British & Colonial Aeroplane Co. (later Bristol). Eventually some production models were built by Parnall as well. The aircraft was successful and served on the HMS Argus and Hermes. They remained in service till 1926. Two were purchased by the US Navy and 12 were reported purchased by the Japanese. Very high quality kit with detail better than many injection molded kits. Has full interior detail. Metal Model Kit,   Box Condition: Sealed

Before this, there were few standard gauges and most railroads were scratch built to any gauge the collector desired. This kit is the Menzies reissue of the classic Athearn kit. These kits build very realistic models because parts that are metal on the real box car are metal in the kit; same for the wooden parts. All sides, doors and roof are fully decorated, leaving very little painting. Includes wooden floor, opening doors, metal underside and detail fittings such as AB brake set, brake wheel, etc. These make great stand alone models or high-quality rolling stock for your line.
