Dated 1950. A very nice deluxe version of an older model. This one contains an extensively pre-carved balsa hull that just needs final shaping at the bow and stern then final sanding, three sheets of printwood parts, bamboo and wooden dowel stock and a bag of fittings including a lifeboat, stairs, ladders, carved wood parts and more. The kit has never been started. The fittings bag is still factory sealed and the hull and printwood are inventoried complete. Plans are 'excellent.'

The plans are dated 1938. This kit is part of Ideal's famous '12 Inch' series of ship models with the composition molded hull. This eliminated all the work of forming the hull from a block of wood. This hull is in 'excellent' condition with no warping. Small edge chips are the only damage. Also includes two sheets of printwood parts, bamboo strips, wooden dowels, full plans/instructions which include rigging details. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes the plans/instructions. The box damaged, missing two small and one large end flap on the right side. The parts are still wrapped in the plans exactly as they left the factory; the plans have very little wear and are in 'very good++' condition.

Very near 1/100 scale short-body tri-jet. The box is dated 1962 but this is a later issue (mid 1960s) with the slightly different logo. Joe Kotula did the stunning artwork of the ground crew preparing the short-bodied 727-22 for departure while passengers board via the 'airstair' rear door. The 'Fly UNITED' neon sign beams in the background as another United 727 departs overhead. Inside, it is molded in white and clear. The aircraft can be built in gear up or down configuration. Includes complete decals for N7211U as shown on the box top and the clear 'triangle world' display stand. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Decals have age spots to the backing paper; the actual transfers are clear of spots and have typical yellowing. The most amazing part about this example is that it is 100% complete, right down to the never-used tube of AMT Plastic Filler Body Putty, sandpaper and velor upholstery material. The kit features all parts needed to build one of three versions - detailed stock 283 engine, complete 409 CID 'W' head blower or carburetter engine, engine stand, full stock interior, custom interior with bucket seats, roll bar, custom wheel and gear shift, telephone with bracket and stuff alligator, optional stock hubcaps, mag wheels or custom bladed cap, standard tires or racing slicks, chassis with separately molded rear differential, shock absorbers, traction masters, front A arms and front lower suspension unit, detailed engine compartment with opening hood and stock or custom '57 Buick grill. Furthermore, the "Minor Stylizing" section of the instructions shows more included features such as whip antenna, spotlights, fender mirrors, three piece car show trophy, custom front pan, clear tube grill with Corvette type vertical grill, scoop aerials and roof scoops, horizontal tail fins, rear roll pan, nerf bars and bubble fender skirts. The more radical 'Top Chopping' and major 'Stylizing Options A and B' display how to chop the top and use the included clear lowered 'bubble top,' a wild front end extension with Lincoln-style custom headlights, extended hood and 'pancake hood' insert, wild deck body extension with custom bullets, rear grill and tail lights and more. The kit is molded in white, clear, red-tint clear, two trees of chrome parts and rubber tires. It has never been started and has been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, factory sandpaper, AMT Body Putty, upholstery material, white wall tire sticker sheet, large custom/racing decal sheet and complete instructions. 1959 first and only issue of this classic and rare kit. This is the finest box condition that I have had in 20 years of collecting. Color and gloss are factory new. All four corners are solid with no repairs and there are no price tag, tag marks, fading or litho tears. There is general light corner wear as the main flaw. The only tape marks are from the factory sealing tape. The box tray is 'very good+.' The model contains 18 aircraft (102 parts total), all to a constant 1/240 scale. All aircraft have an in-flight configuration that is accurate down to the wing angle on the B-52. The display is made complete with all aircraft riding on 'Flight Wires' from the special blue stand. Even the factory tube of Monogram glue ('Monoglue') is included and has never been opened! The factory mounting card for the glue is present also. The large decal sheet is in wonderful 'near mint' condition, and the instructions and Air Power book are both 'excellent.' The kit has never been started. Inventoried complete with all parts, base, factory sealed flight wires, decals, instructions and 24 page 'Air Power' booklet. This kit must be shipped with postal insurance.

Molded in bright glossy gray and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. NOTE: the box would grade higher than 'very good+' but there is a tape tear on one long side (from the factory tape) and a closed split on the other long side.
