Revell Convair B-36 Giant Bomber - (small box) Pre 'S' True First Issue, 1/184, H205-98

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: NM

$425

Very rare early 1950s issue that is correct in every way. Unusual narrow height Pre 'S' box has the full artwork and the rare one-piece stand arm. The box is in investment-grade 'near mint' condition. Color and gloss is like new, all four corners are perfect, no price tags or marks from tags, there is no tape - not even marks from the original factory sealing tape (implying they were never even sealed by Revell). There are no tears, tape or otherwise, creases, fading, stains or dents. The only flaws are very, very slight edge wear and a very faint 'light' spot just behind the foreground engine- you can see in the photo if you look hard. Has early 1st issue stand with a one-piece stand arm (three prongs at the top). Revell very quickly replaced these when they proved too fragile. The correct instructions showing this early stand and the decal sheet includes the stand decal. Never started. Inside the kit is like new - the small parts are still factory sealed in the 'krinkle' bag and the parts Revell never sealed are 100% complete Inventoried complete with 'excellent' condition decals and instructions. The second issue of this kit looked exactly like the first (this one), but the one piece stand arm was replaced with the two-piece stand arm and the instructions were changed to reflect that. The third issue of this kit shared the same part number but is in a taller box, has greatly simplified artwork, the two-piece stand arm and instructions that reflect that change. For a long time it was thought that all 'full' box art versions had the one-piece stand arm; that is not true. Revell changed the design so quickly that some were issued with the change.

Never started. 100% inventoried complete with all parts/decals and instructions present. Please note that this kit is different from the 'Pre-S' issue in the following ways: no rivet detail, almost no panel lines, different part numbers, pilots are a part of the fuselage (busts only), one piece wings and absence of the pods at the half-wingspan line, no landing gear and no holes for such, very early 'Colortone' logo decals and a silver, two piece plastic stand of a unique design that was not used again.

Revell Lockheed F-94C Starfire - Pre 'S' Issue, 1/56, H210-79

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc+++

$125

1954 issue. Molded in the correct gloss silver and clear, with the 'Revelving' Swivel Base. The kit has never been started and is inventoried complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The small parts are still in the factory bag but it is opened. The decals and instructions are in 'excellent++' condition. The box has only very light wear as shown. This is the third release. The first issue was in the simple one-piece box and Revell quickly converted to this two-piece box as it was much more durable and a full-color lithographed 'slick' could be used. For the second issue, Revell added rivet and raised panel line detail as well as landing gear, and went to this box and H210-79 kit number. The famous 'Globe' clear stand was added, but the 2nd issue has the rare one piece stand arm and the instructions reflecting that. The 3rd issue (this kit) is identical to the 2nd issue except that the 'Globe' stand was changed to the sturdy 3 piece arm version.

The box is graded Excellent and it is one of the better (not the best but close) I have seen, with excellent color. There is some edge wear and clear tape neatly applied to one corner. Inside the kit is 100% correct. The plastic is the high gloss medium gray. The instructions are the correct 'large' release for the first issue.
