The Tu-144 was the worlds first supersonic transport, beating the Concord into the air. A series of accidents, however, robbed the aircraft of the fame it might have had. She cruised at mach 2.35 and carrier 120 passengers.

Hard-to-find limited production craftsman kit. Czech Model (Czech Masters) kit are known for accuracy and fine, scale detail. Parts are cast in high definition resin and feature very fine recessed panel line detail. Kit is never started and complete. Due to the small size of some parts, these kits are recommended for the experienced model builder. Kit does not come with instructions, but assembly is very straight-forward. From older but quality Fujimi molds. The model as never been started. The parts are either still in the factory sealed bag or have been inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. UPC stood for Universal Powermaster Corporation which was based out of New York City, NY. UPC did not cut their own molds, but bought kits already molded from other manufacturers and re-boxed the kits in the USA. Scott Eidson, the famous artist best known for his artwork with Revell, also did UPC box art in the 1960s. All UPC production ended in the 1970s.
