Revell The Visible V8 Transparent Motorized Operating Auto Engine - (ex-Renwal), 1/4, H902

1977 issue. This model is a very early Revell issue shortly after the Renwal molds were purchased. Because of that, it is the only time that Revell issued the kit exactly as Renwal did. The model is motorized and features over 100 moving parts. It is molded in clear, red, black and silver. When built, all major internal parts move via electric motor and spark plugs (red lights) flash in time. This kit has never been started. All plastic parts but the black ones still in the factory sealed bags. The black parts had a tear in the bag, so I opened them, inventoried them complete and put them in a new bag. Includes 'How An Automobile Engine Works' book (ex-Renwal book) and full instructions.

Revell Cut Away George Washington Class Polaris Missile Submarine (SSBN), 1/261, H437

Dated 1975, but this is a quality Revell of Germany issue and is probably a later date that what is shown. This is Revell's own cut away nuclear SSBN, not the Renwal reissue. The molds were slightly modified from the 1961 originals. Features highly detailed interior with nuclear power plant room, reactor room with shield, 'Sherwood Forest,' instrument and chart room, mess and galley, crew's quarters, torpedo room, opening missile hatches and Polaris missiles. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

1960 issue with Bullpup missiles and classic framable box art by Bart Doe. Features pilot figure in cockpit section, working wing flaps, detailed landing gear, drop tank, two Bullpups, two missile trailers and three ground crewmen. Never started. Revell Whip-Fly F-89D Scorpion, 1/80, H153-98

1960 issue of the rare "Whip Fly" series. The box is in exceptional collector condition. Hardbox artwork for this series was the 'action' photos by Tom Kelly. Whip-Fly kits contain the aircraft model with nose ballast, a metal control ring, 12 feet of control line and a control handle. Inside, the kit has never started. All parts/instructions/decals are still in factory sealed bags.

1993 reissue of the late 1950s 'S' kit. Includes moving cranes, hanger bay and detailed Martin PBM-5 Mariner Seaplane. The Norton Sound molds were modified to create this kit. Revell U-99 German U-Boat (Type VIIB) WWII - Lodela Issue, 1/125, H408

Still factory sealed. Large scale (1/125) Lodela issue, probably from the 1970s or early 1980s. Measures over 20 inches long when assembled. U-99 was one of the most active and successful early boats under the command of Otto Kretschmer. She survived 7 active patrols but was sunk on the 8th patrol on March 17, 1941. 40 of the crew survived the sinking, including Kretschmer, who accounted for the greatest tonnage of shipping sunk by any commander in WWII.

Dated 1975. One of Revell's finest early ships. It is from the original 'S' kits molds, which are a tribute to the research and skill of the mold maker. Beautiful full-hull model features finely engraved planking and plate detail, rotating main turrets and elevating guns, full secondary armament of 5", 1.1" and ten 5" casemate guns, complete deck fittings with searchlights, motor launches and whaleboats, range finders, ladders, cranes, masts and observations nests, two catapults with Vought O2U Biplanes, display stand and flags and decals for the ship and float planes. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals, flags and instructions. You can turn this into an amazing model with the PE detail sets from Gold Medal Models.

Revell German Sub U-47 'Show-Off Model' with Interior, 1/125, H384

NOTE: builder kit only, please read carefully. 1975 release of the cut-away version of the famous "Snorting Bull" of Gunther Prien. This is a nice kit with a detailed but simplified interior. There has been no assembly but NOTE: one bulkhead has been painted. There is no other painting. NOTE: missing one crew figure, two bulkheads and rear torpedo tube. The bulkheads are simple and can be cut from sheet styrene; the rear tube can be made from anything of the correct diameter. The other parts have all been inventoried present with decals and instructions. Prien and his men survived 11 sailings but were lost on the 12th. On his second sailing, Prien made history by sailing into the British Base of Scapa Flow and sinking HMS Royal Oak.

It has been inventoried with all parts and instructions present. NOTE: the instructions are photocopies of the visible U-47 model and only include the steps required for this kit. Dated 1995. Large scale kit that is very highly detailed and well molded. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Wilhelm Bauer was originally commissioned as the U2540, a Type XXI submarine in WWII. She was sunk at the end of the war, and raised in 1957. She was rebuilt and recommissioned.

Revell Clipper Stag Hound Clipper - The Largest Merchant Ship of Her Day, 1/216, H345-300

From 1966. Very nicely detailed like all early Revell sailing ships. Full hull kit with premolded ratlines, optional sails and full rigging instructions. Molded in three colors. NOTE: this kit has minor and neat assembly to 2 parts. The hull halves have been professionally assembled. There are no gaps and the seams have been carefully eliminated. The deck fits 'excellent++' into the hull. The hull detail was sanded down to a more realistic level and is free of scratch marks and ready to paint. There is no other assembly. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The Stag Hound was designed by the famous Donald McKay and was launched on December 7, 1850. She is famous for her great speed and turned a nice profit for her owners. The most notable event was when the Stag Hound was asked to take a copy of President Lincoln's inaugural address to London. During this run, she raced the steamer 'America' and won easily. Shortly after this she was lost off Brazil to a spontaneous combustion of her coal cargo. The crew successfully abandoned ship. The captain was the last to leave. He lowered the American Flag, wrapped it around himself and jumped overboard.

1992 reissue of the 1957 'S' kit. Large scale (1/28) detailed kit with movable prop and wheels, detailed engine, cockpit, full rigging instructions and more. Includes special markings for the Red Baron's DR-1. The airplane has never been started but NOTE: the two halves of the Baron have been neatly assembled. Inventoried with all aircraft parts present but NOTE: missing two ground mechanic figures. With decal and instructions.
