1973 issue. Large 1/32 scale kit measures 17 inches long when assembled. Contains decals for both RAF and US Marines version. Features detailed rotating side jet nozzles, detailed engine, removable engine inspection panel, optional position landing gear, optional position speed brake, full cockpit with pilot, underwing loadout of rocket pods and drop tanks, opening canopy and movable wheels. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Lindberg Douglas F4D-1 Skyray - (F4D1), 1/48, 562-98

Rare 'green' box art issue from the late 1950s. Fantastic artwork is by Ray Gaedke, who painted both of the Skyray issues for Lindberg. Kit features fine raised details, moving rudder and wing control surfaces, complete jet engine and opening inspection cover, pilot, two drop tanks, underwing rockets and a clear display stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Box displays much better than the grade but is ranked 'good-' because one short panel has stains, wear and three (later) price stickers. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. Very highly detailed and features an excellent cockpit, detailed gear wells, intakes and exhaust, optional position speed brakes with detailed wells, separately molded rudder, ailerons, wing flaps and leading edge slats, three piece canopy, drop tanks and more. There is a full paint guide and very large and colorful decal sheet for both Starfighters listed. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Wood and Metal Model Kit,   Box Condition: Good-


Very rare and dated 1946. Solid wood, true scale model that was well detailed for that time and highly prefabricated. Features factory cut fuselage and wings cut in X,Y and Z planes - not just profile. For example, the wings have the proper taper from the root to the tip and the fuselage is tapered fore to aft. The stabs are profile cut as are the four nacelles. Also includes four plastic props, 5 finished main and nose wheels, metal nose gear struts, dowel main gear blocks as required, printwood, a stiff cardstock sheet with templates for all surfaces, sandpaper and very extensive full color decals. The big, full size plans include detailed building steps and drawings as well a the three view and there is even a special United four-page fold out advertising the new aircraft. On pages two and three it has a great cut away of the aircraft and 5 photos of the interior areas; on the back is a large photo of the cabin. The kit has never been started and is complete. Please note, the fluids and glue are not present which this website lists as the standard condition.

This model is a solid display model from 1952 and features an 80% precarved fuselage, die cut parts, full size plans and a stapled bag of detail parts (probably wheels). The model has not been started. The parts are either in factory sealed bag(s) or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions.

Still factory sealed but the seal has drawn the box top slightly concave. Second issue dated 1955; the first issue has same art but kit #P9-98. The box has as-new color and gloss. Kit features optional position cabin door, rotating propellers and wheels, pilot, copilot, hostess and passenger figures and colorful TWA decals.

Heller Submarine Cruiser NN3 Surcouf, 1/400, 1074

Still factory sealed. Surcouf was a huge 360 foot long submarine cruiser with twin 8 inch guns, heavy AA guns, torpedo tubes for two different diameter torpedoes and a seaplane/hanger. The advanced design had a range of 10,000 miles but experienced many important teething and design issues. Due to this fact, she was the only ship of her class. Her fate is unknown except that she was probably sunk in the Gulf of Mexico. Very finely molded full hull kit. Includes seaplane.

Rare in this condition; the box is in investment-grade 'near mint+' condition with only the slightest bit of wear. Older issue with a UPC code, likely from the 1970s. Nicely detailed with full interior, detailed engine and engine compartment, opening hood, good underside detail and more. Molded in white, chrome, clear, red-tinted clear and with rubber tires. The kit has never been started. Inside, it is exactly as it left the factory with the white parts still in the factory sealed clear bag. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete and includes remarkable 'near mint' condition decals and instructions. And thanks to Stephen Payne for submitting this additional information- The team of Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin raced at tracks throughout North Carolina and became a national sensation in the 1960s and early '70s dominating the action in their chosen area of competition, including the Super Stock, Factory Experimental, Funny Car, and Pro Stock categories. The team duo pioneered the development of drag racing teams as professional business operations. Sox was the winningest Pro Stock driver (nine victories in 23 events) in the 1970-72 "four-speed era." Initially Martin and Sox were competitors, but Martin approached Sox to drive his car after concluding that he just couldn't beat him. The Sox & Martin team ceased operation at the end of the 1975 season as a result of the energy crisis and dwindling factory support.

Very Rare. From the early 1950s. Please note, these came in generic boxes with the model stamped on the end. All of them have a photo of a P-51, but the kit inside is a Corsair as stamped on the box end. The Consolidated 'Deluxe Models' were excellent kits and highly prefabricated. The were solid wood (no tissue) U-control model designed for 1/2 A size engines. Features a factory carved upper and lower fuselage, shaped (profile cut) wings, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, fully formed main and tail wheels, balsa and metal stock, a wax paper envelope with hardware and smaller parts, decals and full size plans and instructions. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Rare. Brand new, never removed from the box and complete. High quality die-cast model that is completely factory built and painted. Please note the canopy is present, but Franklin Mint shipped them off the model. You have to snap it on to install it. When I saw this kit had never been removed from the packaging, I did not open it. If any of the paperwork is important to you, let me know before you purchase and I will check for you. The He-119 was developed as a high speed recon bomber in 1937. The revolutionary design was highly streamlined with the prop driven two couples DB601 engines with a drive shaft through a glazed noze. When the Germans announced a new world speed record by the "He-111U" in late 1937, it was actually the He-119 that set the record. Basic vac kit with white and clear parts - recessed panel details. Never started and 100% complete.

Otaki Dornier Do-X Flying Boat - (DoX), 1/144, OT2-17-1500

Very nicely molded and detailed. Kit has over 110 parts and a 13 inch wingspan. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Famous German Flying Boat built in 1929. Dornier dreamed that this huge aircraft would become a trans-oceanic airliner with passengers traveling in oceanliner-like luxury. A tour of South and North America was conducted, but orders never materialized due to excessive fuel consumption and a lack of power. Total load was 170 passengers and crew, and the 12 engines developed 7200 HP.
