Bv-138s supported many operations in WWII, but may be best known for its ability to support U-Boats for days a time...by being towed and refueled by the U-Boats themselves. 'White Box' release from 1978. This well detailed kit is molded in blue, silver, nickel/chrome plate, clear and includes authentic leather-like material for spare tire straps and flexible tires. Features a rolling chassis that builds up like the real car, fully detailed engine, suspension, exhaust and undercarriage, removable hood, full interior, driver figure, side-mount spare and more. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions. NOTE: one small 'leg' of the headlight bar was broken off at the factory - you can tell because the chrome was plated over the break area! Can be replaced with very fine cylinderical stock plastic. From 1924 to 1930, this 660 lb "Jack the Giant Killer" raced and won against the traditional 2,000 lb juggernauts of it's day. Other than light weight, the design had many first such as cast aluminum wheels with integral cast brake drums, solid forged bar front axle, two liter straight eight engine with single overhead cam and three valves per cylinder, two exhausts and one intake with the combined area of the exhaust valves greater than the intake to scavenge the burned gases and more.

Still factory sealed and from high quality Monogram molds. Very large 1/24 scale kit is over 19 inches long when built. Actually, this model is made from the same molds as the Phantom Huey kit from the late 1960s, except it is molded in color and excludes the non-relevant parts. The results is a wonderfully detailed kit with full interior, crew, full instrument panel and radios, detailed engine and transmission, opening cabin doors, and rotating main and tail rotors. Includes XM-16 armament subsystem with quad 7.62 mm machine guns with ammunition belts and two LAU 32A/A (Aero 60) rocket pods.

The 7 submarines attached to the resin 'flash' are all one-piece mini-subs from WWII and appear to be 1/350 scale. They are very finely molded and detailed, down to the human operators on the chariot-style subs. The one larger sub (ivory colored resin) is unknown. Thanks to Joe Greeley, it looks like one is an X-Craft (like used against the Tirpitz), and Italian minisub (like used against the HMS Queen Elizabeth) and others may be a Kaiten and/or Pearl Harbor type minisub.
