From the mid 1940s. Very rare with fantastic box art by Bill Neebe. West-Craft box art was amazing at a time when most box art was minimal and/or uninspiring. It was well ahead of its time and certainly predated all plastic kit box art in the USA. This was an excellent and highly detailed model for that time and measures 11 inches long when assembled. Features numerous factory cut hardwood parts, numerous die-cut hardwood parts, die-cut heavy cardstock parts, completely formed and finished wheels with center lugs and tread, full decals, a glass bottle of paint (intact but dried), decals and some of the best early wood kit instructions I have seen. They include 38 detailed text steps, parts identification drawings and four superb elevation drawings. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The box mentions cement, but I do not see any.

Very rare. From 1943. This was the expensive, deluxe West-Craft jeep in giant 1/12 scale. Very highly detailed for the time. Features rolling frame construction just like the real jeep (minus motor), complete interior, fold down windshield, beautiful completed black wheels with tread, a big bottle of West-Craft Olive Drab Dope (still good), numerous hardwood parts cut to shape, very and heavy and thick (as thick as good wood) die-cut cardstock parts, a sealed wax paper bag with metal hardware, full decals and mint, large, superb plans including dozens of drawings and diagrams and very complete step-by step text instructions that matches the drawings. This was a special display box, intended to be displayed open if the shop owner so desired.

Comet was a very famous manufacturer of flying stick and tissue as well as solid aircraft models. What is less well known is that Comet produced HO equipment during the HO boom of the late 1930s/1940s. This is an excellent kit from that period. The kit features precut and shaped wooden roof, underside and frame, metal ladders, grab irons and other small parts, and heavy embossed and pre-decorated cardstock sides for and ends for MDT NYC. Features very well drawn full size plans. The kit has never been started. The parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed bags. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions.

Includes real sprung metal trucks. Roundhouse (by Model Die Casting) was a famous manufacture of HO Craftsman kits in the 1940s/1950s. This is one of their all- metal car kits. Very well detailed and crisply cast with little or no flash. Molded in details are superb. Features all metal one piece roof, three piece roof walk, car ends, floor and undercarriage, factory painted and lettered sides for Great Northern (yellow overal with colorful GN Logo), three piece brake set, couplers, pocket doors, bushings, screws as needed, grab irons, full instructions with drawings and more. The prepainted sides are excellent. The roof, floor, ends, doors and car sides are very flat and straight for easy assembly. The kit has never been started. Most small parts are still sealed in the factory envelopes. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions.

The box top has a unique perforated 'signed' picture of Redford that can be 'detached and framed'. Inside, the kit is the large 1/28 'S' issue with detailed rotary engine the moves with the prop, authentic fine fabric texture finish over ribs, complete cockpit with movable control stick and rudder bar, removable cowling, pilot and crew figures, rigging instructions, correct Waldo Pepper decals (with USA 'N' registration numbers) and instructions.

Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'. First issue dated 1968. Finely detailed kit of the classic US Biplane fighter of the 1930s. Includes markings from the colorful 17th Pursuit Squadron, early 1930s, Selfridge Field, Michigan. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: the prop has one blade neatly broken at the base. The blade is present. I have included a painted prop that is not broken. You can strip the paint from the prop with DOT 3 brake fluid, spray oven cleaner or any other tested, safe plastic stripper. P-6 variants were in production for 10 years, a remarkable feat in a time when airframe/power plant technology was changing rapidly.
