Excellent, all-metal kit from the late 1950s or very early 1960s. Features factory painted and lettered sides in 'near mint' condition. The kit has never been started. No parts are warped; everything is straight and usable. There are no trucks with this kit.

Very high quality wood and metal kit from the Golden Age of HO Craftsman kit. Builds a very accurate and highly detailed prototype. Of the early metal box car kits, these are my favorites, with their popularity witnessed by the various reissues through the years. Almost all the parts that are metal on the actual box car are metal on the model. This and the factory paint, lettering and decoration makes these kits difficult to beat for scale appearance. Features stamped steel body, car ends and roof that are factory painted, lettered and decorated, steel ladders, doors, door guides and brake platform, cast metal running boards, bolsters, coupler pockets and three piece brake detail, stamped metal undercarriage beam with fine cross bearers, corner steps, grab irons and more. Includes trucks. The factory paint is excellent, and I have wrapped it so it will not be damaged in shipment. Due to the high degree of factory finishing, the only painting required for this kit is the interior floor and underside. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including instructions. Features traditional wood/tissue construction, quality printwood and spars, wood stock as required, fully formed wheels, thrust button, prop, rubber motor, covering tissue and detailed full size plans/building instructions. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing narrow stipwood. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts present. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Still factory sealed. From 1988. Well detailed model with 109 parts and measures 18 inches long when assembled. Features fully detailed decks, 12 hull mounted cannons, 4 cannons and carriages, 5 crew figures, pre-formed sails, full color flag sheet, display stand and nameplate, full instructions and rigging diagram. This is Sir Francis Drake's English galleon that is famous for its circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580. The ship was originally named Pelican, but Drake re-named her in mid-voyage 1577 just before entering the Strait of Magellan. The name 'Golden Hind' was a compliment to his patron of the voyage, Sir Christopher Hatton. Hatton's family coat of arms was a golden female deer ('hind').

Hardbox kit dated 1965. Aurora issued this kit in the wake of the highly successful James Bond 007 series. For Aurora, this kit was an amazing improvement in mold quality and detail; so much so that Monogram reissued this kit after they purchased the Aurora molds. Features fully detailed engine and engine compartment, opening hood, complete interior with folding front seat backs, opening driver and passenger doors, fully detailed underside with separately molded suspension, differential, springs, steering linkage, drive shaft and exhaust, opening trunk showing full spare tire, battery and four pieces of fitted luggage and more. Molded in correct gloss red, black, white, clear, chrome and with real rubber tires. Never started. The black and red parts are still in factory-sealed bags. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete with instructions.

Very rare. Thi sis a solid wood kit of this early USN submarine that was unfortunately rammed and sunk by the City Of Rome. The kit consists of a 3D machine cut to profile wood hull (requires sanding to round shape), printwood, wood stock, cardstock detail parts and even a corked, glass vial of paint and a metal tube of glue - both in the original small paper bag. Even sandpaper is included. The plans are complete but have long closed splits - they are in two parts. The plans include very nice text directions, very good top and side elevations, several detail drawings and hull cross sections for shaping. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes insignia (on the plans) and instructions.
