From quality Pyro molds. Measures 13.5 inches long when assembled. Could be motorized and made R/C, as it was originally designed for water operation with Pyro's optional Ship Power Pack. Colorful 1960s artwork issue. This is the 'Black' side panel of the two Craftmaster releases. A very nice kit of the famous 'Iron Annie' of inter-war and WWII. it includes parts to build any of the versions listed. Ju-52s saw service in almost every operational area of the war and served as transports, bombers, minesweepers and more. Kit features movable control surfaces, detailed cockpit, optional floats or landing gear, rotating wheels and props. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.

Type 3 logo issue from the 1960s. The Caravelle was one of the most beautiful airliners ever designed. Features fine raised panel line detail, rear loading ramp stairs that open and close, optional position landing gear and a display stand. The kit has never been started. Around 1949 the USAF assigned a high priority to all weather fighter design and deployment. Most manufacturers built traditional two seat machines, such as the F-94. North American, however took a new approach and created one of the first true "One-Man Interceptors". Keeping the wings and landing gear from the proven F-86 Day Fighter, they made a longer and deeper fuselage with a large radome and J47 engine. Guns were replaced with 24 2.75" folding fin rockets. Although more than a ton heavier than the F-86, the Dog was the fasted aircraft of it's day and set several world records. 2,504 were built and formed the backbone of America's air defense system in the 1950s. Markings for 498th FIS and 97th FIS "Dennis the Menace". Very highly detailed. Features all recessed panel lines, detailed cockpit, detailed wheel wells, optional position leading edge slats and wing flaps, drop tanks, optional position speed brakes, canopy and rocket tray and a highly detailed tow tractor. Flyline Models was a manufacturer out of Fairfax, Virginia USA. The models are known for their high quality. The kit contains full size detailed plans, instructions, high quality printed balsa sheets, pre-cut spars and stringers, decals, plastic prop and vacuform spinner, clear window material, covering tissue, hardware and more.

Williams Brothers Northrop Gamma Texaco Sky Chief or Polar Star, 1/72, 72-214

The Gamma was designed by John Northrop and was considered very advanced in 1933. The airplane was an instant success. Texaco took delivery of the first one and set numerous cross-country speed records, in addition to being a crowd favorite at air shows. Dr. Lincoln Ellsworth used a Gamma in 1935 for a successful Trans-Antarctic Flight in the 'Polar Star'. This aircraft now rests in the Smithsonian. Gammas were also flown by Howard Hughes and Jacqueline Cochran. The model is very nicely molded and detailed and can build one of two versions of the Sky Chief (Phase I or III) or one of two versions of the Polar Star (Phase I or II)and includes all optional parts required to do so including two different engines, cowlings, nose sections, two and three blade propellers, canopies, one and two seat cockpits and tail wheels as required. Includes an extensive Micro-Scale color decal sheet for two versions each of the Polar Star and Sky Chief. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. The only kit of the first aircraft to fly around the world. In 1924 four World Cruisers set out on a 27,553 mile flight that lasted 175 days. The epic flight was an adventure to say the least, and one aircraft (Boston) was lost, only to be replaced by the factory prototype, which was quickly renamed Boston II. Includes decals for all five aircraft. Well molded.
