One of the first three Revell aircraft molds issued in 1953. This kit is correct with no rivets and no landing gear. Instructions are printed on the back of the box. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing stand arm. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and decals. The box has wear and creasing as shown. It is missing three of the four small inside flaps. Both large and visible end flaps are complete. Please note that this kit is different from the 'Pre-S' issue in the following ways: no rivet detail, almost no panel lines, different part numbers, pilots are a part of the fuselage (busts only), one piece wings and absence of the pods at the half-wingspan line, no landing gear and no holes for such, very early 'Colortone' logo decals and a silver, two piece plastic stand of a unique design that was not used again.

1967 Pyro issue from original molds. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of the kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. In some cases, the specific car and owner is on the box - in this case the exact car was on display at the Auto Aviation Museum under the directorship of Mrs. Philip L. Sommerlad of the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland, OH. The model includes rubber tires, brass plated parts, colored injection molded parts and clear parts. Features detailed chassis, complete motor and interior and a removable hood or 'bonnet.' Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions.

Fantastic kit from the 1950s in an 'excellent+' condition box. The classic artwork shows the Nike Ajax blowing up what appears to be a B-17 over an American city. Judging from the fiery blast from the launching Ajax in the background, these two ground crew may not make it away in time. This is an excellent model for that time that still rates well today. It features detailed missile with separating states, operating control surfaces, operating launcher and more. The launcher is designed to connect other models to form an entire Nike Ajax Battery for the ultimate diorama. Molded in olive drab and white. The model has never been started. The white plastic parts and decals are still factory sealed; the olive drab parts were never sealed and have been inventoried complete and includes decals and instructions.

Rare action kit from 1965. Opening the door causes the tennis racket to hit the ball, which knocks the pain killer off the plate, which raises the monkey up the pole which jerks the false teeth out of the mouth! The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Multiple Products had an address of Bronx 62, New York, NY and was a division of Loral Corporation. This is one of four Rube Goldberg models. The entire series includes the Automatic Baby Feeder, Painless False Teeth Extractor, Signal For Shipwrecked Sailors and Back Scrubber & Hat Remover. And thanks to Tom Atkinson, there is another series of three "Performing Hobby Kits" called "World's Greatest Stage Illusions" numbered "Act 1, II, III" The first one is "Floating on Air" and it has artwork of levitating woman on the front, with the hand of a magician passing a ring around her. The second in the series was the "Disappearing Lady" and then the final kit was "Sawing the Lady in Half." Multiple Products (also called Multiple Toymakers on the box top) issued other kits as well.

This is the first issue of this large scale (1/48) kit and part of the famous Aurora WWI series of 1/48 scale aircraft. The series began in 1956 and Aurora added new kits into the early 1960s. The line proved incredibly popular that these kits were included in the 'mold upgrade' in the 1970s before Aurora went out of business. Includes three crew, ground base and two ground crew. Molded in the correct gloss dark olive, black and clear plastic. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present.

The famous and beautiful gull-winged SR-9 was the 1937 version of the SR series which began in 1933 and continued in production until 1941. Very rare and highly detailed model from Allen Baker's legendary Ship Model Shop. This was the last kit he issued, and there are two personally signed letters from Mr. Baker included with the kit. Very high quality kit features 90% factory finished hardwood hull, perfectly cut and crisp wood superstructure parts, a vast number of cast metal fittings, a large sheet of photoetched brass details, wood, plastic and metal stock as required, a beautiful set of dry transfers designed by Mr. Baker and custom made by Chartpak. Paperwork includes instructions, plans, sales material, color photos and various photocopies of plans. Carefully inventoried against the included parts list and NOTE: missing (2) of (16) small bitts and the (4) flat Aegis Antenna Enclosures; very easily made by cutting them from sheet styrene. All original paperwork is included but please NOTE: Mr. Baker had difficulty in releasing this final kit. So the instructions are generic (from the FFG7 kits) and a set of assembled plans. He apologizes in the letter for the standard of documentation. I only recommend this model if you are comfortable building a ship from plans.

Monogram Focke-Wulf FW-190 Test Shot - Bagged, 1/72, PA107

This kit came from the collection of one of Monogram's finest and talented Chief Designers, the man who created the original B-52 kit, B-17, B-24J, P-36A, P-39 Airacobra, P-61 Black Widow, DH Mosquito, at least one if not all of the 1/8 scale Ford cars, A-1E Skyraider and numerous other famous kits. In his collection were boxes (usually Four-Star armor that had been damaged on the box-assembly machine) labeled 'TEST SHOTS' and some with his name on it. After designing the model, he was still responsible for the entire program, at least up to the point of mass production. Test Shots were made near the end of the design process for the Chief Designer of that kit to inspect; if something was wrong, he ordered changed. If not, he would clear the kit for production. Test Shots were usually made in whatever plastic was loaded into the silo at the time and in some cases reground plastic (from defects) was even used. This is one of those kits. Ever notice that all Monogram FW190s are always molded in green and black? Well, not in this case! This test shot is molded with many small parts in a startling white with a black swirl, black, clear and green. This is a pre-first issue. It has never been started. The model is inventoried with all parts and instruction present. The instructions may have come with the test shot for his approval or they may have been added later. I have included them because they were in the same 'TEST SHOT' box as the kit.
