Molded in red, black, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires.

The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions.

Airfix Great Western Atlantic Ocean Liner, 1/180, 1701-300

NOTE: builder kit only! Please read carefully. Large scale issue with fantastic Craftmaster artwork. The Great Western was the first ship specifically built for the Atlantic Ferry Service and was designed by I.K. Brunel (who designed the Great Eastern). When launched in 1837, she carried 120 first class, 20 second class, and beds could be set up for an additional 100 if needed. The crew was 60 men. The first crossing of the Atlantic Ocean was in April of 1838 and took just over 15 days. After crossing the Atlantic 64 times, she ran for 10 years between Southampton and the West Indies before being broken up in 1857. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing a section and one part of the display stand. The actual ship is missing 1/2 of the smoke stack (a simply cylinder with raised lines and two straight pipes. The other half is there to use as a perfect guide) and part #192 aft mast cross tree. Inventoried with all other parts, sails, rat lines, flag sheet and instructions present. NOTE: the bowsprit is present, but the fore most end is broken off. Best replaced with a section of pulled sprue or stock plastic.

From the 1970s and from Airfix molds. Very finely molded. Although the molds are older, this is still a very desirable 1/72 Kingfisher kit. Can be built with wheels or floats. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.

Life-Like 1936 Ford Roadster - (ex-Pyro), 1/32, 09288

1970s Life-Like issue from original 1960s Pyro molds. Features detailed molded chassis underside with separately molded front and rear suspension, complete interior, top boot or top in the 'up' position and rear trunk mounted spare tire. NOTE: the front suspension has been neatly and correctly assembled. There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts and instructions. In the early to mid 1960s the Pyro company chose many of its kit subjects based more on historical significance than popularity. Luckily for us, Pyro not only made these kits but did an excellent job for the time. The Pyro car models are based on the actual cars that Pyro engineers and designers had access to. Pyro stated that it can be converted to a 'road racing' or slot car.

Revell Harbor Tug Taurus / Gowanus / Los Angeles - (ex-Long Beach Tugboat), 1/108, H314

Lodela issue from 1977. This is a reissue of the famous 1950s 'S' Long Beach tug. Includes decals for all three tugs. Large scale (1/108) kit features very good detail for that time, full hull with prop and rudder detail, full deck fittings, railings, and even crew members. The kit has never been started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Long Beach, of which Taurus is listed as one of her class, was built in Decatur, Alabama in 1943 and was one of a fleet of tugs operated by the Wilmington Transportation Company. She had a registered length of 81.1 feet and a beam of 24 feet. Gross tonnage was 146 inches and she drew 8 feet of water. Powered by a 700 hp diesel, the range was just over 3,500 miles.

Lindberg Convair XFY-1 - Vertical Take-Off Fighter, 1/48, 526-98

Dramatic Ray Gaedke artwork. Rare early issue from the 1950s. The Convair VTO was a Navy program for a high performance zero-length take off fighter. The aircraft flew well but transition from vertical/horizontal and back was tricky. This, combined with the performance of the new jets signaled the end of the program in 1955. Comes with boarding ladder. Molded in the correct high gloss silver and clear. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Lindberg is a company with a fascinating history The original 'Lindberg Line' stretches back to the 1930s when Paul Lindberg drew plans for famous modeling magazines and marketed his balsa wood 'stick and tissue' by urging dealers to carry the '...Complete Lindberg Line'.
