It includes Phalanx guns, dual Sea Sparrow Launchers, updated for and aft sponsons and a completely new island structure and airwing with F-14, S-3A, A-6E, F-18 and EA-6B aircraft and SH-3 Helicopter.

StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood and plastic kits. The carving is done to the final shape. When complete it makes an impressive desk top display. This one includes beautiful hardwood parts, a clear plastic canopy, full decals in 'excellent' condition as shown, sandpaper, sanding stick and photocopied instructions. The kit has never been started. It is either still in the factory sealed bag or inventoried complete with all parts with decals and instructions.

Still factory sealed. Dated 1977. Large scale model of Sir Francis Drake's English galleon that is famous for its circumnavigation of the globe between 1577 and 1580. The ship was originally named Pelican, but Drake re-named her in mid-voyage 1577 just before entering the Strait of Magellan. The name 'Golden Hind' was a compliment to his patron of the voyage, Sir Christopher Hatton. Hatton's family coat of arms was a golden female deer (hind). Well detailed kit with over 100 parts and is 18 inches long when assembled. Features fully detailed decks, 12 hull mounted cannons, 4 cannons and carriages, 5 crew figures, pre-formed rat lines, 6 pre-formed sails, full color flag sheet, display stand and nameplate, full instructions and rigging diagram.

Comet Curtiss Robin - 22 inch Wingspan Balsa Flying Model Airplane, 3303

Still factory sealed but the seal has drawn the box top concave. There are two versions of the Robin from Comet from this time period (1960s/70s) - this is the one with the larger 22 inch wingspan. Kit features traditional wood/tissue construction, detailed full size plans, building instructions, hardware, wheels and canopy material (if required), tissue, rubber and propeller. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

Limited run kit - only 2000 made. Features main injection molded parts with recessed panel line detail, injection molded clear canopy and metal landing gear struts and tail skid. Includes full decals and a painting guide on the back of the box with federal standard colors listed on the instructions. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. The IAR-80 was a Romanian developed and produced fighter. It was a capable aircraft, shooting down several B-24s during the Ploesti Raid by the 15 Bomber Wing USAF. The aircraft served on both sides (Axis and Allies) during WWII and the 80c variant flew with the Air Force of Romania till 1952.

From the late 1950s/very early 1960s. It is an excellent kit for that time and is still popular today. Molded in dark green and clear. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The famous first bomber to sink a battleship under any circumstances. Billy Mitchell arranged to have the ex-WWI German Battleship Ostfriesland used as target practice for for 6 MB2s, and the ship sank in 25 minutes.
