Vacuform Model Kit
Highly detailed vac kit with better mold quality than most injection molded kits. Includes cast metal details and decals. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. The SR.177 was a further development of the SR.53. The SR177 combined rocket with turbine power. The 177 had a jet engine of significantly more power than the 53, so it could cruise without use of the rocket motor. The interceptor was to be armed with two Firestreak missiles. Although British air policy changed, the work continued due to German interest in the project. However, the program was dropped when Germany went with the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter.

Resin Model Kit, Box Condition: Exc+
Rare. Features excellent resin castings with very fine recessed panel line detail, very good cockpit, optional one piece or three piece (so you can display it open) canopy, metal tail wheel and strut and a detailed color and marking guide for two different aircraft. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. This kit was not issued with decals.
Wood Model Kit, Box Condition: VG++
This issue is from the late 1960s through the early 1970s. Features traditional wood/tissue construction, quality printwood and strip wood, wood stock as required, fully formed wheels, thrust button, prop, rubber motor, covering tissue and detailed full size plans/building instructions. Never started and complete. Comet was a famous manufacturer of stick and tissue flying and static models. In the 1930s Great Depression, they lead the low-priced kit revolution with the "Dime Scale" kits and famous advertisements in Model Airplane News magazine and others. Comet reached it's peak in the 1930s when they acquired the services of Carl Goldberg. Goldberg was a highly accomplished modeler with articles in Model Airplane News and famous designs that won him several National level competitions in the 1930s and beyond. (Carl Goldberg went on to found his own company and produced well designed and popular free-flight and RC aircraft). Comet survived the post World War economic slump and continued kit production until they were bought out by long-time competitor Guillow's in 1998.

From the 1970s. Kit is engineered to be motorized with the optional Mabuchi Mini-Baby motor (not included). Very nicely molded and detailed, featuring all fine recessed panel lines, cockpit & gear well detail and two piece optional position canopy. Has a very large and colorful decal sheet for at least three aircraft - probably many more. Color painting guide and decal guide is on the bottom of the box. The kit has never been started. Internal factory sealed bag including decals and instructions. NOTE: decals sheet is intact but has a great many brown age stains.

Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
From quality Frog molds. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Box art is by the famous Jo Kotula who did 1930s covers for the magazine 'Model Airplane News' and later the Aurora box art of the late 1950s. Air Lines kits are all Frog molds that the Lines Brothers imported to the USA between 1964-1966. The kits, decals and instructions were made in England, then imported to the USA where Testors created the boxes with the colorful trading cards on the back. There are one or two trading cards on each box which show the boxart but not the advertising/logo. Some kits contain a Testors color painting guide also, but it is not specific to any model.

From very high quality ex-Heller kits. Cleanly molded with no flash. Soviet Union release. Full hull kit with excellent detail. The kit has never been started. NOTE: missing part #22, a bridge piece that is solid, smooth, about .5 inches high and 1.3 cm high and shaped like half of an ellipse. This part can be made by a skilled modeler. Otherwise inventoried with all other parts and instructions.

Wood Model Kit, Box Condition: VG
Likely from the 1940s. This is a solid wood model with an 8 inch wingspan. Features 2D cut fuselage block, quality printwood wings, die-cut horizontal and vertical stabilizer, die-cut propeller, fully formed wheels, wood stock, color insignia sheet and very nice full size plans with templates, text instructions and even the color scheme. Complete and never started.

Still factory sealed and in investment-grade condition. This is the black-sided box variant. A well-holed and damaged FW makes a hasty power-off landing in this great box art. The emergency vehicles race down the runway ready to douse the flaming engine. The pilot has the canopy open to clear the smoke or to make a hasty exit...or both. This is the larger format box version of this kit and has black sides. The smaller box is kit #6-39. There are at least three known Craftmaster box variants with this box art - the small box one 6-89 and two kits sharing #1223-50; one has black side panels and one has white.

Multimedia Model Kit, Box Condition: Good+
Rare. Very high quality conversion that can be used to make a Nieuport 24(bis), Nieuport 24 or Nieuport 27. Contains excellent vacuform moldings, a large number of PE parts, cast metal and full instructions with drawings. The excellent PE parts are mainly for interior details but external parts are included as well. Never used and complete. Please note this requires a base kit
