NOTE: this kit has very neat sub assemblies built as follows: working suspension, bogies and gear box shell assembled; quality of assembly is 'professional' and the suspension works perfectly as well as all treads. Turret hatch and machine gun ring assembled ('professional' quality), gun barrel and muzzle built (professional), rear hull panel partially fitted out (professional). Engine hatch cut out and made to open (professional); scratch build engine included. There is no other assembly and zero painting. The Prince of Wales saw very active service in WWII from fighting the Bismarck with HMS Hood to Far East service with the HMS Repulse off the Malay peninsula. It was in this battle that both ships were sunk by Japanese airborne torpedo attack.

High quality resin model with photoetched details. Features very nice underside and suspension, excellent interior, optional position hatches and more. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed bags. The large parts were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions. The Casspir was the primary mine-protected APC of Koevoet and 32 Battalions during the Angola conflict. Units of the SADF started using the Casspir late in the war due to the remarkable safety record. The Casspir offered the occupants a significant anti-landmine capability. The vehicle also allowed maintenance personnel to easily replace components after a mine detonation. This made the Casspir the preferred vehicle to use during long cross-boarder operations. The Casspir was later used for various conversions such as ambulance, 81mm mortar, 106mm recoilless anti-tank weapon and also for urban police operations. The Casspir still forms an important part of the SANDF. Casspir is 10.88 tons loaded, powered by a diesel engine, has a range of 770 km, speed of 98 km/h on the road, a crew of 2+12 and often has an optional 7.62 machine gun.
