Rare kit from 1951. The Cleveland Quicky line was designed to get builders into the air quickly with a good flying aircraft. They include no cutting, no covering tissue and no painting- "Just Assemble And Fly!" Features all die-cut, quality balsa with fuselage sides, top and bottom, one piece wings and tail feathers, all parts factory painted in a colorful design, fully formed wire landing gear, finished wheels, rubber motor, plastic prop, hardware, thrust button and more. Never started. The small parts are still in the factory sealed envelope. The parts that were never factory sealed have been inventoried complete with excellent illustrated assembly instructions including flying tips.

Rare late 1950s kit in the famous Top Flight "JIGTIME" flying rubber free-flight model series. The Jigtime series were highly prefabricated 3D (not profile), all balsa models with no tissue. The tissue, rib and spar method was eliminated and it is built off of central jigs with all parts factory pre-painted with a colorful design. Includes fuselage sides, top & bottom, completely finished wings with the correct dihedral and camber, finished tail feathers, fully formed wire landing gear struts, finished wheels, plastic prop, thrust button, washers, rubber motor and full instructions. Very, very rare deluxe model from 1951. Cleveland made some of the finest kits, and they pulled out the stops on this one. Features finished cowls, main and tail wheels, completely shaped wire spring landing gear, 70% finished wheel pants, all die-cut balsa parts, die-cut plywood firewall, many other factory cut and routed parts, fully formed and notched wing leading and trailing edges, balsa blocks and other stock (including metal) as required, factory-sealed paper hardware envelope, clear windshield, three big sheets of full color decals including all fuselage trim and rudder stripes and superb, full size plans that Cleveland was famous for. Plans include detailed building instructions and a large number of additional building illustrations. This kit came from a very active and particular collector. Inside, the model is exactly as it was shipped from the factory and never touched until I did an inventory. The small parts and cowls are still in the internal 'Cleveland' box and even the wax paper covering the clear windshield material is present. Never stared and complete.

Never started. The kit is exactly as it left the factory. All the internal presentation cardboard is present and 'excellent.' Large high quality kit in the agreed museum scale of 1/16. Wingspan measures 31 inches. Originally designed for gas powered free flight or U Control, or can be converted to electric power and/or modern RC (radio control) gear. Features clear canopy, metal cowling, rubber wheels and hardware, shaped and notched leading and trailing edges, full size plans, die cut balsa and plywood parts, metal hardware and authentic decals. The model has not been started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions. Berkeley is a very famous manufacturer of flying model kits from the Golden Age of flying aviation, about 1932-1954. Most all Berkeley kits contain a high degree of prefabrication to speed up assembly. Founded in 1933 by William Effinger, the company was quite progressive in producing quality kits - it was likely the Berkeley 'Buccaneer' was the first gas powered model in kit form. In the later 1930s, Effinger acquired the services of a very talented Henry Struck. Struck went on to design numerous award-winning kits under the Berkeley name. Berkeley weathered the post WWII recession and emerged as a major kit producer in the late 1940 and 1950s. These were great years for Berkeley and they produced some incredible and large kits. The company went bankrupt in about 1960 however. Fox engines (Duke Fox) bought the company and released the kits alongside his own FOX models and engines. This arrangement did not last, and in the early 1960s the Berkeley name disappeared from hobby shop shelves.

1972 Mattel/Monogram release. Very finely molded and detailed kit with traditional high Monogram quality. This vehicle could put up a withering barrage of lead in the path of Allied airmen. The Flakpanzer used a Panzer IV chassis and mounted a 2CM Flakvierling 38 quadruple anti-aircraft gun in an open, rotating armored turret. It could reach 25 mph with the 12 cylinder Maybach engine and had a range of 125 miles. Features rotating turret, elevating guns and gun sight, detailed moving flexible treads and bogeys have spring action. Optional position hatch covers. Includes extra tread links, bogeys, Jerry cans and helmets. The kit has never been started. Inventoried with all parts present, instructions and diorama sheet. NOTE: missing decals. Two leaf springs (do not show when built) are broke but all parts are present. The small front lip of a fender is broken also, and those parts are also present so you can repair it.
