From high quality Revell molds. This 1980s Entex issue of this large-scale, highly detailed, full-hull model kit measures over 19 inches long when assembled. Features movable elevating tower, bow monitor, hose outlets, fire hoses, rotating deck water guns, hose reels, radar, railings, crew, detailed wheel house, display stand, bollards, jackstaff, propellers and much more. Because of the large size of this model, many people have converted this kit to R/C operation but you need to furnish all parts for the power, hardware and radio gear (R/C equipment not included). This hardbox issue is dated 1963 and is from ex-Comet molds; it includes the modified ex-Comet 'teardrop' stand as well. This is a fine early kit with recessed panel lines, clear canopy, very good profile and a display stand for 'in flight' configuration only. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions present. The decal have very light age spots on the backing paper only; the actual transfers have no spots. The box display better than the 'very good' grade, but it is rated as such because there is a factory tape pull tear on the upper long box side.

First issue from 1975 in large 1/72 scale and with fantastic detail. Features over 250 pieces, full hull molded in medium gray & clear, propeller and rudder detail, all deck fittings, crew members and more. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried and NOTE: missing one part, a clear window #67. It is simply tiny portholes, so it can be replaced with clear glue. Otherwise complete with all other parts and includes decals and instructions. As is very typical with this kit, please NOTE that about 10 stanchions are broken but all parts are present so they can be repaired (or replaced with wire).

1961 'Master Modelers Club' and 'Air Power' hardbox issue sporting the original 'S' kit box artwork. Inside, the airplane is from the original 1950s 'S' molds and even has the original decal artwork for The Flying Dragon. Well molded and features rotating turrets and propellers, pilot, copilot and bomber figures and more. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Does not include trading cards or stamp. The box looks slightly better than the 'very good' ranking but is rated as suchj because there is a small price tag on the left side panel and a 1.25" x .75" tape tear on the upper long panel.

From late 1966. This is the very rare first issue and ever rarer in never started, 100% complete and in an 'excellent+' box. This kit was issued in late 1966 and is well detailed. It features parts for all three versions, a big block 427 with single or tri-power carb set ups, detailed engine compartment, opening hood, detailed chassis underside with separately molded suspension, shocks, springs, sway bar, drive shaft, differential and exhaust, full interior, decals and more. Molded in gloss white, clear, red-tinted clear, chrome plate and with rubber narrow whitewall tires (with narrow red lines on the back). The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Decals are flat, intact and in remarkable 'excellent++' condition while the instructions are 'excellent.' NOTE: there is a small tire burn on a sway bar and a burn on a muffler; fortunately, 90% of the burn is on the top (the unseen side) of the muffler.

This is a factory-sealed case of 12 Hobby-XV-3 model kits from the 1950s. Hobby-Time shipped them to the address on the box, and I purchased them from the man at that address. The case has never been opened and is still securely sealed top and bottom with the factory tape. The box is in 'excellent' condition. The actual model kits (12 inside the case!) are the one and only issue of this amazing aircraft. This is a very nice kit for that time with fine raised panel lines, interior detail and molded in gloss silver and clear.

This is a 2006 reissue of the original 1961 kit. The model is 20 inches long, full hull and well detailed. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The Oriana was a very famous P&O Orient Liner. In December 1962, in fog off San Diego, Oriana collided with CV-33 USS Kearsarge, causing considerable damage to both vessels. A claims court found Oriana's captain had been steaming too fast for conditions. Afterwards, the CV was good-naturedly nicknamed "The Mighty Kay-runch."
