The kit itself is highly detailed and features real rubber tires, spoked wheels, steerable wheels, two position doors and trunk with drop-down tool tray, fully detailed chassis and suspension, two position hood, detailed engine with wiring and more.

Rare kit from 1945. Excellent and well detailed for that time. All-wood 'DeLuxe' model that has 'All Parts Prefabricated - No Cutting Necessary' and also included paint and cement. Scale is not given, but this is a scale model and measures about 8 inches long when assembled. Features all pre-cut hardwood parts, a sealed envelope of small parts, glass bottles of glue and paint (intact but dried), sandpaper and detailed, illustrated instructions. The kit has never been started. The small parts that were factory sealed are still in the sealed envelope. The parts that were not factory sealed have been inventoried complete including instructions. Please NOTE that the box has clear tape on it.

This model includes a very large decal sheets, die cut balsa sheets, pre-cut strip wood, vacuform cowl, engine, machine gun, pilot and other parts, rubber tires with completely precarved wooden wheel hubs, preformed landing gear strut wires, hardware, tissue, rubber motor and prop. The kit has never been started. Inventoried 100% complete including decals and instructions. Sterling was a famous manufacturer dating back to the 1930/40s flying model craze. Although they continued to produce kits for decades after the flying model slump following World War II, they eventually fell victim to the general lack of interest in modeling that occurred in the early 1980s. I always considered Sterling kits to be deluxe kits as they featured color decals, high-grade die cut balsa, vacuform plastic detail parts, plastic wheels (if required), finished wire landing gear, rubber motor and plastic prop, full size plans with instruction details and full instructions for conversion to RC or control line.

Includes resin New Ware #LK001 Project Bumper V-2/WAC Corporal conversion designed for the (included) Condor kit. Project Bumper started in 1946. The rocket was two states - a V-2 with a modified nose part and the WAC Corporal on top. The first Bumper was launched from White Sands on May 13, 1948. Bumper flight B-5 took off on February 24, 1949 and the Corporal reached an altitude of 244 miles above the earth. This altitude would not be exceeded for years. Bumper was the first two stage liquid fuel rocket. As a combination of the Von Braun first stage and JPL upper stage, it foreshadowed the Juno 1, which would orbit America's first satellite less than 10 years late. The V-2 kit by Condor includes detailed launch pad and excellent painting guide. Never started. The parts are still in the factory sealed bag and includes instructions.

Quality of assembly is 'very good++' and the car was airbrushed to the same quality. Lettered for Rio Grande Denver & Rio Grand Western, car 034 "Tool & Block." The car has two small steps broken off and one step is present for an easy repair. One coupler is disassembled but all those parts are present also.
