NOTE: perfect builder kit, please read carefully. 1977 first issue. Features excellent detail inside and out with full interior, optional position bomb bay doors with bomb load, rotating turrets and elevating guns, optional position crew hatch, and rotating props. This issue comes with decals for the following aircraft: 'Dog Daze' or 'Leroy's Joy.' NOTE: this kit has minor and 'excellent++' quality assembly to four parts - cockpit floor and bulkheads. There is no other assembly and zero painting. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: missing dioroama sheet and the instructions are photocopies. Six parts are silver plastic; they are from a later issue of this same kit. Decals are intact and flat but I would only rate them 'good.' Box is complete and intact but has a large stain as shown.

Late 1950s issue with Ray Gaedke artwork. The back of the box has the instructions and a colorful 'Identification Card' (like a trading card) for the F6F. The original molds were cut by Trim Model Products in the early to mid 1950s. Trim sold them in bags or in hard-boxes, then sold the molds to Lindberg in the early 1960s. Never started.
