Features cockpit detail, optional position cabin doors and detailed rotor head. Contains markings for both Air Forces and a total of 6 helicopters. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions. The first Sycamore flew in 1947 and deliveries continued until 1957. This very successful design was in use well into the 1970s. Detailed interior and Scale Master Decals for six British Army Machines and one Australian squadron.

1997 reissue is from the original 1950s Strombecker molds. One of a series of classic and very famous Strombecker sci-fi kits. The model measures 24 inches long when assembled. NOTE: this kit has very minor and 'excellent' quality sub-assembly as follows: (3) 'tubes' assembled (3 parts #1 and 3 parts #2). There is no other assembly. Inventoried complete with all parts present and includes decals and instructions. SALE!! Includes two complete models. This is not the old Aurora D-3 but is from new molds. Oeffag modified the German DIII design with a stronger airframe and engine, making a superior fighter to the German machine. When the Germans tried to upgrade to the DV, the Austro-Hungarian air arm did not need to. The plane performed very well against a numerically superior enemy and was the favorite mount of many of Austria's Aces. The model includes markings for Austria's leading ace with 35 victories, Godwin Brumowski. The large decal sheet also includes marking for his other Albatros and two other Austrian aces as well. Kit #1 is still in the factory sealed bag. Kit #2 is never started and has been inventoried complete. Includes one set of decals and one instruction sheet.
