1950s type two box with great artwork. This is an excellent kit with good detail. It features separately molded control surfaces, cockpit detail, optional position cabin door, retracting undercarriage, rotating props, boarding stairs, stewardess, family (mother, father and son) and business man as well as two seated pilots. The Heron was the result of a larger and redesigned Dove and first flew in 1950. It's ability to operate from rough fields and ease of maintenance quickly make it a favorite for feeder and independent airlines in the UK and overseas. Heron IIs were also selected by the RAF for the Queens Flight, which is a statement to it's reliability and safety. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
