1/72 Contrail Airspeed Ambassador Bagged

Vacuform Model Kit

"The Airspeed Ambassador was designed to meet the specifications outlined by the 1943 Brabazon committee. The requirement was for a short to medium-haul, unpressurized twin-engined aircraft to replace the Douglas DC-3. In 1940 Airspeed was bought by De Havilland, but they continued to produce under the original Ambassador name..The first design used two Bristol Hercules radials, but before construction began the design had become a pressurized aircraft with the Bristol Centaurus 631 radial engines and seating for 47 passengers. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts and instructions."
