1/32 8628 Revell Teracruzer with TM-76 Mace Missile History Makers (Ex-Renwal)

Plastic Model Kit,   Box Condition: Exc++

Very large (1/32 scale) and highly detailed kit from Renwal molds in the 1982 History Makers Series. The Mace began life as the XB-61 Matador and entered production in 1951. Over 1000 were built for the USAF. The Mace was a Surface to Surface Cruise Missile with terrain comparison or inertial guidance systems and a nuclear warhead. The transporter, known as Teracruzer, had 12 low pressure tires and could handle a variety of terrain. The Teracruzer was a complete service and launch facility for the Mace, and it even held the missile's fuel. Never started. The parts are still sealed in the factory bags. Complete with decals and instructions.
