Lufthansa was also a pioneer in trans-oceanic mail services. Given the German interests in South America, it was no surprise that they established one of the first airmail services between Europe and South American. This kit will build one of those aircraft, the Lufthansa South Atlantic Mail Aircraft (1938) D-AANE 'Zyklon' or the military Luftwaffe 2/KuyFlGr 506 Kiel in 1938 or the Calais based 3/KuFlGr 406 (1940) . The Do-18 was an improved D0-15 'Wal' and set several records. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
