Aerovac 1/72 Farman F.224 plastic model kit

1/72 Aerovac Farman F.224

Vacuform Model Kit,   Box Condition: NM

French four engined transport from the 1930s and WWI. The 224 was originally intended developed as an airliner for Air France from the successful F.223 mailplane. However, Air France rejected the design for safely reasons - it could not fly if one of the engines (2 per prop) stopped. The French Military saw the 224 as a perfect answer to it's paratrooper transport needs and 6 were built and used for this purpose. Missions were planned in WWII but not executed, and one 224 was lost to a Bf-110 in combat. High quality injection molded main parts, with many cast resin parts, injection molded parts and full decals with drawings. Complete and unstarted.
