The British were very quick to design and build successful turbo (jet) prop airliners after the war. The turboprops had superior speed, range and fuel economy. The Vanguard was one of several excellent designs. She cruised at 425 MPH with a full passenger load and 7 to 8 tons of cargo below the cabin. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
