The Stranraer was one of several successful flying boats designed by RJ Mitchell for the RAF. Experience gained with the Southampton and Scapa flying boats was put to good use in design of the Stranraer which featured an all metal structure. Although replaced operationally with the Sunderland, examples of this aircraft were used till 1942 in WWII and many flew long after the war was over. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
