Rare early glossy box release. Has optional markings for 107th Group 1st Squadron, 107th Group 2nd Sq and 107th Group 3rd Sq. Large full color painting guide. Great kit with a host of unique features. Model comes with solid and clear fuselage halves and engine cowlings so you can, if you choose, view the detailed interior and engine compartments. Wing flaps extend outward and down. Ailerons move. Model has provisions to be motorized so both props turn. Includes ground figures. The Ki-109 was based on the Hiryu (Peggy) design as a high altitude interceptor against B-29s. A large cannon was placed in the nose and it had it's own operator stationed below the cockpit. Never started. Factory sealed bag or inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions.
