Early stand-off bomb. First used in combat in WWII. A B-17 could carry two and they had a glide range of 20 miles from operating altitude. Used against Cologne in 1944. Production ceased in 1945. Hard-to-find limited production craftsman kit. Czech Model (Czech Masters) kit are known for accuracy and fine, scale detail. Parts are cast in high definition resin and feature very fine recessed panel line detail. Kit is never started and complete. Due to the small size of some parts, these kits are recommended for the experienced model builder. Kit does not come with instructions, but assembly is very straight-forward. Decals must be furnished by the builder.
