This is the largest and most accurate kit of the Saturn V to date. Carefully researched model measures over 90 inches tall (7.5 feet) when completed. Sold as an unassembled only; photos are of the assembled model. Can be built for static display or as a flying rocket. Full surface detail is included. Features cast resin Command Module w/Boost Protective Cover, LES rocket tube and Five F-1 Engine nozzles (solid resin, for display only). Scale details include ullage rocket fairings, styrene fins, RCS nozzles and styrene corrugation wraps. CNC machine cut 1/4" high quality birch plywood centering rings. Waterslide decals were created by Space Model Systems. These are highly detailed markings for the Saturn V Booster, the Command and Service Module and The Launch Escape System. Includes a comprehensive 11-page guide for markings placement. Full-size rolled plans are included with a 49-page Comprehensive construction/flying manual with extensive building photos. A proven flier on two Aerotech G80-4T motors and reaches an altitude of approximately 250-300 feet. Certifications are NOT required to purchase these motors.
