Includes a factory-sealed Eduard #49349 SB2C-4 Helldiver Interior PE Detail Set designed for this kit. It consists of many photoetched parts and most of them are factory painted. The actual kit is a very high quality model from 1997 - not a reissue of the original Monogram 1/48 Helldiver, but from completely modern molds. Features fine and all recessed panel line detail, super-detailed interior, extensive photoetched parts including ignition harness and dive brakes, complete bomb bay, optional position bomb bay doors, optional bomb load, detailed wheel wells, weighted tires, optional position canopy and decals for VB-85 USS Shangri-La or VB-3 USS Yorktown. Never started and inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. NOTE: as the photo shows, the kit is not in the original box.
