This is the rare wing kit only for the big Falcon 56. This model came from the estate of a very active and particular early aircraft kit collector. Inside, the kit is exactly as it left the factory. It is never started and the parts that were factory sealed are still in the clear sealed bags. The larger parts were never sealed and are inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork. NOTE: unless you specify otherwise, this kit will be wrapped in brown paper and shipped without an outer box. If you choose to have it boxed, please note that in the comments during checkout. Carl Goldberg was a gifted designer of model aircraft, and his career spanned the evolution of flying models. His designs and number of titles won in competition at the Nationals is legendary. His first competition was the 1928 Nationals, where he received honorable mention. By 1934 he won the indoor Nats and in 1935 he opened a Hobby Shop, among the first in the nation (the first one was probably opened by Cleveland Models Ed Packard). Awards came quickly. He wrote articles for Model Airplane News, and was Comet's top designer from 1939 till 1945. After Comet, he worked with Mike Schlesinger and Sid Axelrod on what eventually became Top-Flite Models. In 1955 he founded Carl Goldberg Models and released a still-popular line of scale, rubber, gas, glider and RC models. Needless to say, Goldberg's models are of the highest quality.
