1/100 16070 KVZ Comet IV BOAC

Rare 1960s issue showing a BOAC Comet departing from Hong Kong; the right side of the painting showing the aircraft carrier may be inspired by very similar Revell box artwork from the same period. Unusual larger scale kit from this Cold War East German manufacturer. Most KVZ kits have little or no surface detail. This one, however, has very nice fine surface detail throughout. Molded in gloss white, gray, clear and black plastic. Never started. Inventoried with all parts, large and 'excellent' condition BOAC decal sheet and instructions present.
