Rare. This special issue of the A6M8 is from all new tooling and dated 2006. This is a beautiful injection molded kit that was designed from the outset as a correct A6M8; it does not require or include the resin conversion parts of the earlier Hasegawa issues. Very well detailed featuring all fine recessed panel lines, excellent cockpit, optional position canopy, detailed gear wells, optional position trailing edge flaps with detailed wells, large or small wing-mounted rockets or twin drop tanks and more. Includes prototype markings and also for a theoretical Yokosuka Air Corps aircraft. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes decals and instructions.
