Rare model from 1997. Very highly detailed special issue model with resin parts to make a correct Kate Pearl Harbor Level Bomber. These special bombs began life as 16" AP shells from Nagato and Mutsu and were modified to become aircraft bombs. It was one of these bombs that detonated Arizona's forward powder magazine. This model features very fine recessed surface detail, full interior with crew stations, fully enclosed landing gear wells, optional position canopy, special bomb and more. Includes decals for both aircraft listed. NOTE: this kit has very minor, 'professional' quality subassembly as follows: bulkhead, instrument panel and seats are assembled to the cockpit floor. There is no other assembly. Inventoried 100% complete and includes decals and instructions.
