SALE!! Includes all four reproductions of 1930s wooden kits. There are three stick and tissue flying models and one solid scale model. All are never started and have the small parts still factory sealed while all other parts are inventoried complete. Includes all paperwork. On the flying Models, the Megow V-1A has a 12" wingspan, the Comet Miller Racer has a 10" wingspan and the Boeing P-26A has a 16" wingspan. The solid (non-flying) Megow Curtiss Condor has a 8" wingspan, 2D cut fuselage, completely carved and finished engine nacelles, printwood, wood stock and high quality replica plans of the original model, which is from 1933. Complete and never started. Scale Flight Model Company in Bloomington, Indiana, USA was dedicated to releasing authentic reproductions of the finest "Dime Scale" flying model (stick and tissue) kits, solid kits an even an occasional vehicle model from the 1930s/40s. Dime Scale models used to sell for a dime in the 1930's, hence the name. They are actually box scale, but as a general guideline, they usually had a wingspan of 16 inches and have simple and light construction. "Dime Scale" models are now a class flown in some competitions. Kit consists of contest grade printwood, contest quality strip wood, machine cut balsa propeller, the best Japanese tissue, wooden wheels, competition bushed nose plug, brass thrust washers, prop shaft, prop freewheeler, FAI rubber strip motor and a copy of a genuine dime scale plan that was used in the 1930s-1940s.
