Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good+
Very rare and even rarer in complete condition. 1959 first and only issue of this classic. The box is graded 'Good+.' Color and gloss are like new. Three corners are solid and original; one corner had a closed split and has been correctly and neatly repaired from the inside. There are no price tag, tag marks, fading or rips. The only tape/tape marks are from the original factory sealing tape. Flaws included even, general wear as shown and the ding shown at the lower right right on the word 'AIR' in the Air Power booklet that Billy is dreaming about. The model contains 18 aircraft (102 parts total), all to a constant 1/240 scale. All aircraft have an in-flight configuration that is accurate down to the wing angle on the B-52. The display is made complete with all aircraft riding on 'Flight Wires' from the special blue stand. The large decal sheet is in 'very good+' condition. It is flat and 100% intact. The only real flaws is micro-cracking on the red base decal. The instructions are 'very good++' and the Air Power book is 'excellent++.' NOTE: there is very minor assembly to one aircraft as follows: vertical stabilizer glued to the F-86. The assembly is to 'near mint+' quality. There is no other assembly. The canopy of the F-86 is painted black, as is the canopy and nose of the F-94 Starfire. There is no other painting. The flight wires are intact and never used. All the other parts were loose from the factory and have been inventoried complete. Includes all parts, base, decals, instructions and 24 page 'Air Power' booklet. As I mentioned earlier, the decal sheet is 100% intact, but the previous owner obviously had an extra red display base decal because there is on on the display base. This kit must be shipped with postal insurance.
