Rare version of the Super Sea Scout floatplane. In the 1950s StromBecker was famous for this line of precarved hardwood kits. The wood is quality western pine hardwood - not balsa. The carving is all done to the final shape and when completed it makes an impressive desk top display. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions.
