Rare 1961 hardbox issue with a 'textured' finish so that the artwork looks like a real painting. Note that the box art is 'framable' in that it can be cut out and used as a picture. This model is the Pre-S B-52 with a in-scale X-15 and includes the special wing pylon that was used to carry the X-15 to launch altitude. Also includes the Revell "S" Style Swivel Stand - making this one of the last kits to still include it. The kit has never been started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes decals and instructions. Also includes Master Modeler's Collector stamp for the X-15.
