SALE!! Includes both kits, which include three models all together. NOTE: there was a fourth kit, the Southern Belle, but is missing. All three other kits are are never started and inventoried complete including instructions. These are hardbox issues from the late 1950s. These are very small scale ships, about 3 inches long each. The ITC (Ideal Toy Company) Precision Miniatures was a lower priced line to complement the much larger ITC model issues. The first issue came in hardboxes (like this one) and ITC planned 7 series with a projected 6 models in each series. The series were Aircraft Through the Years, Historical Ships, Locomotives Through The Years, Antique Cars, Ships For Work and Fun, Landmarks in Transportation and Sports Cars. There were 6 aircraft in the 'Aircraft' series- Spirit of St. Louis, Wright Flyer, S-55, Spad 13, P-86 and P-51 Mustang. All were very close to 1/100 scale.
