Early issue from the 1960s of this unique 1/500 scale kit with rare glossy box art from the 'Golden Age' of Japanese model kit illustrations. Can be built as motorized full hull or static waterline version. Well detailed and molded. Includes original glue, and all hardware for motorizing and metal gear box for multi-prop drive (please note that Nichimo did not include the motor in this issue). Features well one piece lower hull (molded in red), one piece upper hull (molded in gray), detailed deck and superstructure, rotating main turrets and separately molded secondary battery and AA guns, catapults, floatplanes and more. Never started. The parts are still in the internal factory sealed bags and includes instructions.
