1/65 H198-89 Revell North American X-15 - 'S' Issue
Plastic Model Kit, Box Condition: Good
Rare first issue dated 1958 with the classic box art that has made these kits so collectible and valuable. The model features movable vertical fin and dive brakes, removable rocket engine, hinged landing skids and removable canopy. Molded in gloss black, clear and with the famous Revell round 'World' stand. Never started. Inventoried 100% complete with all parts, decals and instructions in 'excellent' condition. NOTE: the lower fuselage half is cleanly broken in two; both parts are present and fit together perfectly. Also, #11 nose cap is broken into 3 pieces; all parts are included and fit back for an easy repair. NOTE: the box displays slightly better than the 'good' grade but is rated as such because the left short side panel is bowed out significantly as shown. There is also creasing there and one closed split corner, as well as factory tape residue on the box top just behind the right wing as shown.
