The YF-22 and the YF-23 were the two fighter designs chosen to compete to replace the F-15 Eagle. At the time this kit was produced, the winner was not known. At this time, we now know that the F-22 is the contract winner. Very highly detailed model. Superbly molded with all very fine recessed panel lines. Features detailed cockpit, detailed gear wells and optional position canopy. Includes decals for Prototypes #1 and #2. The kit has never been started. The small parts are still in the sealed bags. The larger parts have been inventoried complete including decals and instructions.
